Greetings from Germany!

Yes, I’m home. Unbelievable…

After more than 20 months, I have to admit, it was a really weird feeling to come home. Now, after a few days, I start to get used to it again. Germany is actually really nice. So green… I almost forgot how green it is. There is one bush after another, forest, next to forest, and fields over fields… Awesome! 🙂

Of course the nicest thing about being home, is being with family and friends. It’s really good to be able to hug them again! 🙂 20 months is definitely a long time.

My dog Amy is on vacation in Orange County. I took her to Irvine Wednesday night. A good friend and great dog lover is taking care of her. He is a dog trainer and owner of a doggy hotel. I’m happy that I found Herbert. He really knows what he’s doing. Dogs just love him and so does Amy. I feel very comfortable leaving Amy with him. So I don’t have to worry about her at all, when I’m on vacation.

You know what the best thing is, though? By visiting Germany, I realized that I feel home in San Diego! 🙂

    Hey “mom”!
I just want to let you know that I started feeling comfortable, really comfortable, at Herbert’s yesterday. There are a lot of dogs around me and first I thought it’s way to much for me. But actually it’s fun! There was Bruno (he went home already)…. he had a crush on me but I think he is just nice. And there is Bella (she has to go home today but Herbert promised that I will see her again soon) – I really like her and want to run around with her all the time. The thing is … she’s Dago’s best friend and she isn’t sure if he likes to share her 😉 Dago’s sis Shiloh is pretty settled but when she starts playing it gets crazy!
We all can play almost the whole day in the backyard – just right after breakfast and dinner Herbert is not allowing us to run around, we have to rest for at least an hour.
I like the walks we are taking and in the evening I place myself on Herbert’s feet while he is watching TV 😉
So enjoy your trip, tell everybody “Hi” and bring something nice for me when you come back to pick me up 😉
    Slobbers from your Amy !!!
